Plasma

Plasma Cutting is the process whereby electronically conductive material is cut through by means of an accelerated jet of hot plasma. Compressed air is used and forced at high speed through a consumable nozzle towards a workpiece which creates an arc. The arc ionises some of the gas thereby creating an electrically conductive channel of plasma.
